This Surface pattern design is inspired by the relationship of woodland creatures with their environment. The woodland animals are created with gouache combined with ink stamp details. The yellow marks are also created by hand, using ink stamps and gouache. My intention with this mark making was to suggest and create movement that relates to the activity of the animals.
